Privacy Policy

Apna AI is built privacy-first. This policy explains what we do — and crucially, what we do not— with your data. We aim to comply with India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (DPDP Act) and good global practice.
1. Customer message data stays on your device
The core AI features — drafting replies, summarizing notes, and sorting messages — run entirely inside your browser. The customer text you paste is processed on your device and is never transmitted to, stored on, or seen by our servers. There is no server-side copy of your customer conversations.
2. What we do collect
We collect minimal operational data: anonymous, aggregated page analytics (no message content), and — if you purchase a paid plan — your billing details, which are processed by our payment partners (Razorpay and/or Stripe). Your free-tier usage count is stored only in your browser's local storage.
3. Payment data
Card and UPI details are handled directly by Razorpay and Stripe under their PCI-DSS-compliant systems. We never see or store full payment instrument details.
4. Your rights
Under the DPDP Act you may request access to, correction of, or erasure of any personal data we hold (primarily billing records). Clearing your browser storage removes all on-device data instantly.
